Exchanging the vibrant neon heartbeat of Johannesburg, we venture towards Botswana’s expansive Kalahari, a natural stage for the captivating narrative of the San people’s life. As we enter we enter the Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA), which is a remarkable cross-border conservation initiative, merging the territories of five African nations, the enchanting veins of the Okavango Delta, an unmissable charm of Botswana, await our exploration, its wilderness poised to entertain for a duo of starlit nights. Our next stage is the Khwai Conservation Area, reached by our trusty open 4×4, providing us a wildlife-infused home for two nights. Your camera is key as we glide in a Mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, silently slipping through the Okavango Delta’s arteries, where hippos and crocodiles own the waters. Our wheels imprint the dusty paths of Khwai on a game drive, its wild inhabitants providing us a carousel of natural wonders. We continue to Moremi Game Reserve, devoting an entire day to an exhilarating safari and an intimate encounter with its resident fauna. The iconic Chobe National Park serves as our amphitheatre for a soothing river cruise, offering front-row seats to elephants frolicking and forging paths across the river, close enough to steal your breath away. Crossing the threshold to Zimbabwe, the thundering spectacle of Victoria Falls preludes our voyage to the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, the serene shores of Lake Malawi, and the dreamlike beaches of Zanzibar Island. A ferry ride from Dar es Salaam sets the scene for our three-night Zanzibar retreat. Once we touch its shores, surrender to the hypnotic white sands and plunge into the sapphire embrace of the Indian Ocean, the perfect setting to etch your island memories. The Serengeti, an untamed safari utopia, cannot be ignored. We embark on an overnight journey in specialized 4×4 safari vehicles, where the Ngorongoro crater’s vast expanse welcomes us and herds of wildlife adorn its vast plain. A full day’s pilgrimage through the Serengeti National Park unfurls before us, imprinted forever in our hearts. Our epic 29-day safari odyssey concludes in Nairobi, Kenya’s pulsating capital, where our footprints join those left by other intrepid explorers.

If you would like to help Nomad making Africa Greener, simply choose the tick box during your booking process (or contact us afterwards to add it) and we will take care of the rest. The Nomad African Trust is responsible for the administration of the funds collected from the sale of the green seats and these funds are distributed to various projects as identified by the Trust.
