Embark on an epic journey across the multifaceted landscapes of East Africa as we traverse through five distinct countries on this 22-day odyssey, from Nairobi to Victoria Falls. Immerse yourself in a tapestry of contrasting ecosystems that is bound to enchant you every step of the way.
Feel the rhythm of the wild resonating from the untouched wilderness of South Luangwa National Park, a hidden gem of East Africa. Then transition from the bush to the beach, as you unwind by the tranquil waters of Lake Malawi, one of Africa’s most majestic lakes.
Experience a sensory overload in the bustling local markets of Zanzibar Island, where fragrant spices fill the air and pristine beaches stretch as far as the eye can see. Then, journey deep into the heart of Africa’s premier safari destination, the Ngorongoro Crater. Your two-day escapade into this wildlife haven promises an encounter with the famed Big Five, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Our adventure begins in the vibrant heart of Kenya, Nairobi, before we set off for the undulating plains of the Serengeti National Park via Arusha. Be prepared for your pulse to quicken as you witness some of the most stunning wildlife spectacles during our expedition into Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti.
From the wilderness, we switch gears and head for the tropical allure of Zanzibar’s white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Here, you can embrace your adventurous side with a multitude of water sports, or perhaps rent a scooter to explore the island’s rich cultural history. If you prefer, simply bask in the sun and let the serene landscape rejuvenate you.
As we bid goodbye to the island paradise, we continue our adventure inland to Mikumi National Park, Tanzania’s fourth largest wildlife sanctuary. Our journey takes us further into the warm embrace of Africa, into Malawi. Here, we spend quality time absorbing the serene atmosphere on the shores of its freshwater lake.
Our final pit stop is the unspoilt South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, a truly immersive bush experience. As our journey culminates in the adrenaline-packed town of Livingstone, we can guarantee this diverse 22-day East African adventure offers the perfect balance of thrill, tranquility and discovery.

Nomad has a non-profit Trust that looks after the people, animals and places that we visit. We realise that a footprint is left where we travel and for this reason, the Nomad Africa Trust was established. Your donation to the Trust is called a “Green Seat”. If you would like to help Nomad making Africa Greener, simply choose the tick box during your booking process (or contact us afterwards to add it) and we will take care of the rest. The Nomad African Trust is responsible for the administration of the funds collected from the sale of the green seats and these funds are distributed to various projects as identified by the Trust.
