Cape Town Magic is a compact, hosted city break built around Cape Town's signature day trips, based at a single central hotel for the full stay so there is no packing and unpacking between stops.
Over four days you cover the Cape Winelands' historic towns and vineyards, then the full length of the Cape Peninsula down to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, with private road transfers and a qualified guide included on both full-day excursions.
It suits travellers who want Cape Town's headline experiences distilled into a short, well-paced break — couples, friends or solo travellers looking for a premium add-on before or after a longer African journey, rather than a multi-day overland trip.
Comfort level is hosted and door-to-door: airport transfers, en-suite hotel accommodation at the V&A Waterfront, and guided touring by vehicle, with free time built in on arrival day and both touring evenings.
Stellenbosch, Franschhoek (including a ride on the Franschhoek Wine Tram), the Drakenstein Prison site where Nelson Mandela spent his final 14 months of imprisonment, and Paarl — with three wine tastings, one cheese tasting and a cellar tour included.
Chapman's Peak Drive (weather permitting), the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point (entrance included), plus Hout Bay and Simon's Town, returning via the False Bay coastline. A stop at Boulders Beach's penguin colony is included in the route, with its entrance fee optional and payable locally.
All three nights are spent at The Commodore Hotel in the V&A Waterfront precinct, putting restaurants, shops and Table Mountain views within walking distance on the free evenings.
Cape Town International Airport to hotel
A Nomad representative meets every arrival at Cape Town International Airport and transfers you directly to the hotel; the rest of the day is free, with the V&A Waterfront's restaurants, shops and harbour and Table Mountain views a short stroll away.

Hotel to Cape Winelands (return)
After breakfast, a full day exploring Stellenbosch, Franschhoek (with a ride on the Franschhoek Wine Tram), the Drakenstein Prison site, and Paarl, with three wine tastings, one cheese tasting and a cellar tour included; you return to Cape Town in the late afternoon with the evening free.

Hotel to Cape Point (return)
A full-day peninsula tour along the Atlantic seaboard via Chapman's Peak Drive (weather permitting) to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point, with stops at Boulders Beach (penguin colony, optional entrance fee), Hout Bay and Simon's Town, returning to Cape Town via the False Bay coastline in the late afternoon.

What is a single supplement?
On camping tours, single supplements are optional however on accommodated tours, single supplements are compulsory if you are travelling on your own. If you have purchased the single supplement, you will receive your own tent / room for the tour. However, in the event that your Activity Package includes an activity that involves accommodation, you will be required to share for the duration of that activity. The single supplement does not cover any Activity Package items and these are booked on a shared basis, regardless if you are on a camping or accommodated tour.
Only a maximum of 4 Single Supplements are allowed per tour. Any extra Single Supplements are on requests basis only.
When is a single supplement required?
All of our tours are priced on twin share accommodation. If you are booking one of our accommodated tours and you are travelling on your own, you are required to pay the single supplement. There are a maximum of 4 single supplements available on all tours.
If you require accommodation before or after your journey we can arrange this for you. We can also arrange airport transfers – contact your travel agent or Nomad to make these bookings.
Nomad has a non-profit Trust that looks after the people, animals and places that we visit. We realise that a footprint is left where we travel and for this reason, the Nomad Africa Trust was established. Your donation to the Trust is called a “Green Seat”. If you would like to help Nomad making Africa Greener, simply choose the tick box during your booking process (or contact us afterwards to add it) and we will take care of the rest. The Nomad African Trust is responsible for the administration of the funds collected from the sale of the green seats and these funds are distributed to various projects as identified by the Trust.
