Begin your odyssey in the pulsating town of Livingstone, where the rush of adrenaline accompanies the roar of the waterfall. Here, rainbows aren’t confined to the imagination but paint the sky with their vibrant hues, every sunbeam playing its part in this celestial canvas. From these cascading heights, we journey to the heart of Zambia, unveiling the mysteries hidden within the boundaries of the South Luangwa National Park.
As twilight descends, embark on a sunset safari, not just exploring the daylight kingdom but venturing into the realm of the secretive nocturnal dwellers. Their tales are whispered only under the cloak of the night sky, offering a glimpse into a world often shrouded in shadows.
Next, our voyage takes us to the sun-kissed shores of Malawi, the heartbeat of Africa pulsating beneath the golden sands. Here, on the banks of the Lake, find solace in the tranquil mornings, immersing yourself in literature or basking in the golden rays, as the local fauna hums a gentle lullaby. The lake, a veritable Eden for aquatic species, watches over us as we slumber under the star-kissed sky.
As the journey continues, the tropical allure of Mikumi National Park awaits, promising more wild encounters. Amidst this wildlife theatre, enjoy the fragrant respite of a coffee plantation, witnessing the journey of coffee beans from harvest to cup.
Our voyage reaches its pinnacle in the paradise that is Zanzibar, where pearly white sands kiss the azure expanse of the ocean. In the northern edges of Nungwi, the ocean becomes a playground, offering everything from fishing and snorkeling to scuba diving and ocean safaris. Your Zanzibar adventures are destined to be etched in the sands of your memory.
From the sun-kissed beaches of Zanzibar, we traverse southwards to the historic hub of Stone Town. Rich in cultural heritage, this bustling port was once a cornerstone for both the Spice and Slave trade routes. Partake in a guided spice tour that meanders through local villages and fragrant plantations, offering a chance to witness the spice harvesters as they nimbly scale the trees in their search for aromatic treasures. This immersive journey allows you the opportunity to purchase freshly picked spices directly from the very hands that cultivate them.
As our Tanzanian sojourn concludes, we find ourselves enveloped in the urban hum of Dar es Salaam, our hearts full of treasured memories from this grand East African spectacle.

Nomad has a non-profit Trust that looks after the people, animals and places that we visit. We realise that a footprint is left where we travel and for this reason, the Nomad Africa Trust was established. Your donation to the Trust is called a “Green Seat”. If you would like to help Nomad making Africa Greener, simply choose the tick box during your booking process (or contact us afterwards to add it) and we will take care of the rest. The Nomad African Trust is responsible for the administration of the funds collected from the sale of the green seats and these funds are distributed to various projects as identified by the Trust.
