We’re proud to be supporting meaningful, nature-based experiences like Reforest Fest.

Nomad Africa Tours has proudly supported Reforest Fest by doing what we do best, moving people, infrastructure, and possibility across landscapes. Every year, our trucks help transport essential event infrastructure, materials, and products to the beautiful Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat, reducing Greenpop’s carbon footprint by facilitating group transportation and ensuring that when 1,500 restoration champions arrive, everything is ready to go. In 2026, as Reforest Fest celebrates its 15th anniversary, we’re deepening our partnership in an exciting new way.

Beyond logistics, we are proud to support the festival’s Youth Development efforts, including funding 16 young women and 3 facilitators from Brave Girls to attend the festival, the largest youth group supported to date through this channel. This group of Brave Girls are budding conservationists eager to get into the biodiversity and tourism economy. This partnership acts as a great step forward in supporting this process and widening their network and experience.

Reforest Fest has planted over 150,000 indigenous trees in the Overstrand region, investing in restoration, and has been recognised as one of the top five environmental festivals globally by the United Nations Environment Programme.

But what inspires us most is that restoration isn’t just about trees. It’s about future leaders.

Through the Youth Development Programme, future leaders and environmental stewards gain hands-on exposure to environmental action, event management, music, and community building.

If you’d like to join Reforest Fest’s restoration efforts, there’s plenty happening all weekend:

  • 🌱 Tree planting
  • 🎵 Live music, including Nomadic Orchestra, Crimson House Duo, Sky Dladla, Siso Nkambule, and more
  • 🌿 Nature walks through restored milkwood forests
  • 🎨 Enjoy talks, workshops, and creative experiences rooted in restoration
  • 🐣 Great food all weekend, plus a special Harvest Feast on Easter Sunday

The festival is especially designed with families in mind and includes forest play areas, kids’ craft and storytelling spaces, outdoor learning activities, kids yoga, and a reimagined Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday.

As a company that moves across Africa’s landscapes every day, we see firsthand how important ecosystem restoration is, and how powerful active citizenship can be.

This Easter, we’re proud to help move restoration forward.

On the road.
On the ground.
And in the next generation.
